I was in a wreck last week, and my car was completely totalled. I knew I needed a new car, and decided quickly on a Honda Civic, as recommended from my parents, friends, and it was just an obvious choice for practicality in this city. I walked in yesterday just to take a look at the cars, knowing I wasn't going to be walking out with one that day because I did not have my down payment ready, and I still had to deal with some things for the my insurance company. The staff was extremely helpful and understanding of my situation, and showed me the cars they had on the lot. I knew I wanted a brand new Civic EX-L which they actually did not have to show me. They had a few EX's, but I got the idea as to what to expect for my new car. They asked if I wanted to sign the paperwork and get the financing approved that day. I figured why not? If I already know this is the car I'm getting, I might as well start filling out the paperwork. We went over the quoted prices, financing options, and I chose the best for what I could do. I was there for a good 2 hours or so if I had to take a guess, but only because they were waiting on credit check, and all the other stuff you have to do when it comes to buying a car. I had to wait a day to get my insurance stuff taken care of, and also to make sure I was approved for the financing options I chose. They called me the next day to let me know I was approved and my car had been delivered already and as soon as I dealt with my insurance company that I was able to pick it up! Everything was settled that day with my insurance, and I picked it up my car right after that. I was so excited! I was shown everything about how to use certain features of my car, signed a few more papers, was handed my keys, and I was out the door. I never expected buying a car to be SUCH a fast and simple process. I have never bought a car on my own before, and I was very nervous to do so, but thanks to Honda San Francisco, I had a great experience. I'm enjoying my brand new Civic, and I look forward to driving it
