Review content:
I wore glasses starting at about age 15 (I am 36 now), and never thought much about it. Until I noticed I was seeing double. It would happen when I was driving and had to turn around to view my blind spot, or when I was laying down on the couch watching TV. So I went to see Dr. Lenart and he told me I have strabisthmus (sp?), a condition that mostly occurs in children. I guess I have had it all my life but recently (after the birth of my 2nd child) it became more pronounced. In any case, he scheduled me for surgery 2 weeks later. I was black and bloue for a couple of days, but within a week I could see normally. I not only DON'T have double vision anymore, but I don't even need my glasses for nearsightedness! I am SOOO Happy! He is a great Dr. and his team of nurses are very thorough! He is now my regular eye Dr. and I see him yearly for a check-up...along with the 10 olther kids in the waiting room each time! :) Oh well!
