Review content:
My husband and I visited this spa not to long ago. The receptionist was pleasant but very nervous. There was a thin older looking woman watching her every move. I had to assume that this woman was her boss. This was the first thing that we noticed and it made us uneasy. She took us back and had us change and do some paperwork. The lounge was small and uncomfortable it seemed more like a hallway than a lounge. My robe was torn and worn. My husband’s robe did not fit him very well which made him uncomfortable. As for the slippers, they looked moldy. When they finally came to get us for our massage, we had to walk up some dark stairs. We actually walked out of the spa to go to our room. Then we walked through the manicure room, which had a couple people getting pedicures. The door to our room was off the manicure room. There was something dark splattered on the wall in our room. I do not know what it was but it was unpleasant. The blanket on the massage table was stained. During our massage, the people in the manicure room were talking very loudly. I was sure I heard someone using the toilet and flushing as if the bathroom were right next to us. I noticed another door before we arrived at our room that was obviously adjacent to our room and contained a bathroom. As well as other fainter but still audible voices. The best part of this entire experience was the massage. The massage was good but not the best I have ever had. The therapists were warm and very friendly, which helped a little. It was a little awkward to come out of the massage room to have people getting their nails done staring at us. I was glad to leave. I will never return to this spa and would not recommend it to anyone. I am a very upbeat and easy-going person. I do not normally do this sort of thing but I think everyone should be aware that this is the dirtiest spa we have ever been to.
Pros: Massage good
Cons: Too many to list
