Goodwins' has six rooms filled with yarns of all colors, thicknesses, knitting needles, a cross-stitch room, a room with scarves, hats, sweaters and doll cloths on consignment. The name of the store includes "Readin," and the surprise is that there is a room filled with paperbacks -- mysteries, romance, all kinds of fiction. Books are free. Take it home and bring it back when you are ready. Classes in knitting and crocheting and news of fairs and related events come to you in Goodwins' newsletter. The people who run the store want to know who you are, where you came from, and what you want to buy. They will help all they can. Can't ask for more.
