Review content:
Mystic Seaport is a replica of a 1600's whaling village. Located on the Mystic River, it offers stunning views and scenery, and they have done an outstanding job of recreating life in those days. Some of the highlights include a town with "actors" playing the roles of blacksmith, pub owner, sail maker, etc. You can also board old ships and view the Charles W. Morgan, one of the oldest whaling vessels. They often have festivals and hands on activities, entertainment, etc. During the December Holidays, they offer a candlelight stroll and caroling.
