Businiess name:  Athens Market Cafe
Review by:  Nick N.
Review content:
I've been to a lot of Greek restaurants including Daphnes and other privately owned ones. However, Athens Market Cafe is among my favorite because of the great service and the authentic greek recipes they use. There is one located in Rancho Bernardo, but also one in downtown, they are not a chain persay, but the restaurants are owned within one family. They have amazing appetizers that range from dips to the flaming saganaki, a greek cheese that has brandy poured over it and then is lit up. Its dishes of moussaka and pastitso are always delicious and the greek salads are to die for in their large portions. There is no food quite like Greek food because it uses so little preservatives and tastes great. In addition to the food, pita is served with all soups and salads and its toasted to perfection or however you would like it. A meal is good enough in itself with all the pita that is provided
