Review content:
I just went back today after reviewing all the complaints on here about the size of the sandwich. Trouble is, everyone's used to "SUPERSIZE ME" meals and the huge portions that restaurants serve nowadays. These sandwiches are normal sized with normal amounts of meat. I had a sandwich, potato salad, shared a piece of pie and was FULL! The food is awesome and the service is excellent. I request that everyone take an objective look at what a normal sandwich size is and the recommended dietary guidelines and find that Philippe's is right in line especially for the cheap price! Go to Jerry's or Canter's if you want to choke on 2 inches of meat and an $11 sandwich! Then check in for triple-bypass surgery.
Pros: Normal size portions, old-school atmosphere
Cons: parking, crowded at peak hours
