Businiess name:  Bargain CDS Records & Tapes

Review content:
My stepson stole about 2000-3000 CDs from our home, and sold many of them to Bargain CDs over a period of a year. These were CDs we had collected over a period of decades, and included many unusual, rare and out-of-print items, particularly in jazz. When we discovered they had been stolen, we went to the store, because it is only a few blocks away from our home. When shown a picture of my stepson, they acknowledged that they had bought 1000 CDs from him, and gave us copies of the records they had kept on this. The owner told me that he wanted us to be happy and would do anything he could to have us feel satisfied. He went on and on about this, talking about God and Karma and how it's important to do the right thing. We went to the store on 3-4 occasions and picked out the ones that were ours. When we went to the store for the final time, and wanted to take our CDs, the owner told us that we needed to "make him an offer." He had never said this before, though he claimed he did. He wanted to sell OUR CDs back to us for half the sticker price; many of them, since they were rare, had prices of $25-$40 on them. We were victimized by our son the first time, and the store owner victimized us again. Take your business elsewhere.
