Sesame Workshop is a nonprofit agency dedicated to educating children from pre-school age to age 14 around the world. The Workshop is in more than 120 countries, with characters that children from every culture can relate to. They have television shows, books, interactive media and community outreach programs. Their work is the perfect bridge for cultures and peoples who often are unable to discover a discourse that is not encumbered with politics and misunderstandings. by focusing on children, the Workshop helps to inculcate values of tolerance, diversity and acceptance among young people around the world, an ideal potential antidote to hatred, bigotry and vioence.
