Businiess name:  Frick Collection

Review content:
That all these works are on show in a museum would have already been a great achievement. The fact that all these works were collected by privately by one person makes it so much harder to believe. The works are displayed in the late owner's mansion on Fifth Avenue, close to the much bigger Metropolitan Museum of art. The obligatory admission is well worth the price, as the works are displayed in an intimate, extremely well thought-out arrangement. They do not necessarily follow any strict chronology, the main idea is their impact on the visitor. And what an impact they have. This collection is to be taken personally, like it was acquired by the late Mr. Frick
