Review content:
On September 16th (MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY) a group of friends and i went out to a place called Sangria's in Hermosa Beach and were straight up discriminated against. They wouldnt let us in this place because we were a large group of hispanics. Don't think that we were dressed wrong or started some stuff there, because we didn't. We were the first ones in line and waited an hour for them to come to us and ask to speak to the leader of our group. My sister spoke with this black sellout and he said we werent going to be able to get in because one of the guys that wen't with us looked like somebody that came in the previous week and started trouble but none of the guys that went had even been there before. They also stated that an Hermosa Beach Police officer came and told them that but when we asked to speak to the officer they did nothing, we asked to speak to the manager and didn't let us. We drove 40 minutes, paid vallet and all just to not even be allowed into this place. I called twice that day to ask about the specifications on the dress code every single one of us were dressed properly, none of us were thugs, we did nothing wrong. I have never felt so discriminated against in my life. Its not right that they still do things like this to people, please dont let Sangria's get away with this, do something to spread the word out about them. Please take the time to repost this as a bulletin. How is this place going to be named after a latin drink but yet they discriminate against latinos? Never go here, this type of stuff has to stop, we are in the year 2008, people don't have the right to treat people like this.
Pros: none
Cons: they still think its the 50's
