The team at Tangerine Aveda are pure professionals. I have been to some of the highest-end salons in Dallas and Atlanta, and although Reno pales in comparison to those cities' offerings, Tangerine Aveda is MORE than I could ask for for a city this size. If you too are used to superior salon service, go straight to Aveda. Many of the salons here in Reno are small-town, tacky, chemically smelling, gossipy, dirty, catty, and loud. Expect to fall in love from the minute you walk in. You will be offered a glass of wine/beer (COMPLIMENTARY! HELLO!!), and get a scalp and hand massage - outside of your other services. You will pay a very fair price, some might say it's a bit on the expensive side, but not to me. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR at Tangerine Aveda. If you like to skimp on yourself and just give yourself an "average, ordinary" salon experience, then DON'T try this salon. If you believe that you are worthy of 2 solitary hours of serene, pure, indulgence all to yourself (and you do deserve it!), then this is your salon. It's mine and I could go on and on. Additionally, if you are looking for the best blonde color, a cut that is perfection, and a blowout that any Hollywood starlet would be jealous of---you should book your next appointment with Senior Stylist Jen Rushton. You will not be disappointed.
