Review content:
This pastry shop is located in a strip mall that has very little parking off of White Oak and Van Owen Blvd.
I thought I would try something new and stop and pick up a few sweets for my kids.
When I walked into the location it was about 3pm on a Friday. I observed no employee in the front area so I waited. After a few minutes a female employee walks out of the back and asks what I need. She had no smile on her face and her tone was not real friendly.
I asked about some of the pastries considering this was a ethnic bakery I was not familiar with all their pastries.
She told me briefly about the baked goods and seemed a little annoyed that I was asking about what they tasted like or what she would suggest.
I ordered a dozen of two different types of baked goods. When the employee rang up my transaction she remained emotionless, handed me the receipt and started walking to the back. She did not thank me, say goodbye or anything.
This was the first and the last time I will patronize this bakery. Besides that, the pastries were okay. If the experience was nicer, it might have been a different opinion. But a little customer service goes a long way.
