I can remember visiting a maple sugar house on a field trip in preschool, from that point on I knew I was going to make syrup. I immediately told my Dad all about this experience and my ideas. The very next day we got started. We created our own homemade evaporator and hung only 13 sap buckets.The first year I made less than a gallon of syrup. Ten years later, at age 15, I won the Maple Producers Carlisle Trophy for the best syrup in New Hampshire. Now, at age 21, I have two sugar houses, a variety of maple products, and am still expanding my business. I work very hard to produce my award winning syrup and ensure customer satisfaction. My maple syrup is not only great on pancakes, waffles, french toast, and ice cream, but is also the perfect taste for many family recipes.
