If I could give it no or negative stars, I would. Do NOT stay here. The proprietors are worst than incompetent. I had called to book a room here because we had stayed at the Cabins at Strawberry right down the road and loved the location. I was looking for a 2-BR cabin for our family of four plus another family of four. The gentleman who answered the phone said, he had a suite with 1 BR upstairs that had 2 queen beds and another room downstairs with 2 fold-out futon couches. I confirmed, "Oh, 2 bedrooms" and he said, "How many people do you have?" I said that we had 4 adults and 4 kids under 5 in our party and he indicated that the room would be large enough. Well, we get there and not only are there not 2BRs, the upstairs BR has a queen bed and a roll-out cot. Additionally, the "2nd BR" was the living room w/ 2 futon couches. The kitchen was also missing some basic necessities such as a cutting knife, colandar, and eating bowls - making it difficult to truly cook here. I mentioned to the proprietor that we had expected a 2nd BR given that the price was $190 vs. the $250 we had paid for 3BR at the Cabins at Strawberry. If the man had been gracious and apologized for the misunderstanding, I might have chalked it up to "Live and learn." But the way he responded to my comments, I realized that he knew exactly what he had done - that is, LIED, to us - and for that, I am posting my negative review everywhere
