I moved to Philly only for the summer and heard Pierre & Carlo was a great place so I tried it. They are open later on most weekdays so I was able to walk there right after work. The location is very convienent - especially for public transportatin. I was on time for my appointment and they took me right away. I didn't even wait 2 minutes!
My hairstylist, Sarah, was FANTASTIC. Not only was she talented, but friendly and really sweet. I felt right at home with the people who took care of me! We talked and laughed the whole time. Sarah blew out my naturally curly hair better than I've EVER seen it done and didn't even have to use a hot iron.
My fiance is coming to visit this weekend and now I look like a ROCKSTAR and can't wait to go out on the town with him. I'm so glad I chose to go to Pierre & Carlo and would definitely go there again. But only to see Sarah. And the man who washed my hair. He was the best - I wish I had caught his name!
NOTE: The little blonde chick who helped me out when I went to pay at the front desk was pretty rude and cold. I don't know her name or why she was so snotty but I think she is the type of person who has caused some of these negative reviews. The other girl at the front desk, who told me she is new at the job, was very friendly and helpful. So maybe management is getting rid of the rude personnel. I hope so.
