I made an appointment with Dawn for a cut based on the reviews that I read here on Citysearch and I was very happy with her and my cut. I have since been back for a highlight too (which looks 100% natural, just like she promised). She is very professional and takes the time to get to know you and fully understand what you are looking for.
I had been unhappy with my very curly, dull brown hair for several years and hadn't found a hair stylist that could properly cut and style my hair. I was surfing the net for ideas when I came across the Envy reviews here and the specific mention of Dawn. I was looking for someone who was experienced with curly hair and came highly recommeded from other "curly girls." And, I didn't want to spend a fortune or have to drive hours just to get my hair done. Envy and Dawn fit that bill, so I gave her a try.
Dawn explained that she was specifically trained in cutting and styling curly hair and she talked me through the process of cutting my curly mane!! (FYI, the other stylists in the salon were similarly trained too.) My hair looks the best it has ever looked!!!! Based on Dawn's suggestion, I am growing my hair longer (I had short layers put in by a previous hair stylist and they looked hideous) and I trust that she will give me quality advice and service for years to come.
