Review content:
My colleagues and I (from Mt. Sinai Hospital) have our monthly department dinner at Uptown restaurant. This is one of the most relaxed, cool, and upbeat places in the area. Our experience at Uptown is always positive and I never have any doubts where to go when we are taking visiting doctors or speakers out. When available, the Skylight Room is a great complement to any evening. They have an extensive craft beer selection (which I love) and creative drink menu. We made the mistake of having our department dinner at the “steak house” down the street and were very disappointed. Won’t do that again. I highly suggest this venue and will continue to patronage them. When planning a dinner party or special night out, the managers (Daniel or Eric) will make sure you are well taken care of.
