The Holy Cow is one of the few night spots in the SF that has a great combo of bar/club/dance atmosphere AND a cool, no-issues crowd. It has a warm atmosphere and raging party feel without being 'cheesy' or a meat market, as so many clubs become. I'm not sure how to explain why. It might be that the DJ mixes up the tunes really well. Some dance/house, some hip/hop, pop, then classic anthems, then back to dance. It keeps the flavor of the evening changing, fresher than if it's all one music style. This also attracts a diverse crowd. What I do know is that I've had numerous fun nights there and met some good people. They also make the best Long Island Ice Tea in town. Pros: easy parking, cheap drinks, fast bartenders
