I have dyed my hair myself for way too long and had nothing but red brassy straw (was always trying to go for a light golden brown) to show for it. Carolyn listened to what I wanted and gave me the color of my dreams. She managed to get the red out and gave me a color (and subtle golden highlights) that also highlighted my eye color and skin. I always thought my skin was blotchy, but with this new color I am much more even-toned. John then gave me a cut that absolutely works for my thick coarse hair (long layers, side-swept bangs) and I can even do it myself! The staff is lovely and attentive. I did have to stay there four hours but, well, I needed a lot of corrective work done! Now, when I go back for a root touch-up or cut, I'm sure it won't take as long. I absolutely recommend Carolyn for color and John for cut and style!
