A few notes about Aequis: (I'll get right to the point)
1: Hands down, best ambiance in the Portland Spa scene. They literally transfer to another world full of spice, fragrance, and exotic rituals.
2: Entire staff maintain the same exotic mystique that seem to melt down stress
3: You just get more for your buck - custom robe, foot washing ritual, scented teas and more depending on your package.
4: Qualify of massage can be good to great depending on masseuse. I'm not very good about remembering names, but everyone has been good.
5: Try some of the more exotic treatments on the menu.
If you're only interested in the best massage, you may find a better provider. When it comes to the total experience, Aequis has the others beat.
