Let's put it this way. If the state passes a no-smoking in public places law, they'll have to tear down The Poodle Dog to get the smoke smell out of Fife. That said, if your lungs and nasal passages can stand it, this is a great place, especially for breakfast. Their pancakes are fluffy miracles. The ambiance is strictly nostalgic -- I'm not sure anything has changed about this place in 40 years. And of course, though the address says Tacoma, the 'Dog with its huge sign has been a Fife landmark for years.
