Gene Juarez is the only salon that has stylists who will give you a certain hairstyle whether you want it or not. After my hair had been washed the stylist looked at my hair and said "I think you will look great with the Jennifer Aniston cut". I then told the stylist that I didn't like her haircut. The stylist looked at me and said that was what I was going to get. She then proceeded to cut my hair like Jennifer Aniston's. My mother had a similar negative experience here. She was poked hard in the neck with a pair of scissors. The stylist then denied this fact. My mother refused to pay. Gene Juarez, even after looking at the now bleeding cut told my mom the stylist was not responsible. My mother, finally received a written apology from them a few months later.
There may well be others out there who like Gene Juarez and are happy with the level of service they provide. I will not let them within ten feet of my hair again.
If you go, you should know that Gene Juarez also offers an array of other services. The average haircut costs around fifty dollars.
