Businiess name:  Eva Scrivo Salon

Review content:
I have been going to Eva Scrivo for two years spending two hundred upwards for cuts each time. About six months ago one of my cuts involved bangs and it's been downhill since. So, for my new cut, Orlo is much better service, they do alot more to help you maintain between cuts. At Eva Scrivo you can play a game of chicken with your stylist between cuts: For fringe trims you can't book in advance, you have to call between 9 and 10 in the morning to find out the schedule of your stylist and have the receptionist gingerly ask him/her if they will take you. Oh and they don't do it on weekends. I guess this might be ok if you don't have a job or anything else to do. Or maybe if you haven't already shelled out $200 plus tax and tip to them for a cut. Well I have a job and better things to do than play games with my stylist (will he/she take me? yes? no?) This has not worked out in may favor so many times that I have had to resort to paying another salon to have my fringe maintained. A while back (when still at E.S.) my bangs had really taken over my face and I needed help, I was traveling for work and needed to fix it immediately. So I called to find out if they or Kaz (my stylist) apparently he had two 15 mins openings on Sat. but I had to call again in the morning. Saturday morning at nine I was informed again no exeptions to the bangs on weekends rule. And that is when they lost me, a loyal client of two years who has done nothing but tout their salon to friends and strangers on the street. I carried Donna and Kaz's business cards in my bag to hand out if opportunity strikes. I have literally shelled out thousands of dollars in services and products and I was resorted to a beggar asking for scraps from the eva scrivo table. Well I was desperate because then I called Orlo. They were ready to take me that evening once I had made an appointment for a trim a few weeks later. End of story. Pros: Expensive cuts Cons: Not much service for that expensive cut
