I was looking for an awesome new stylist /highlight person because my regular moved away. I bumped into 3 of my friends who had just gone to Rita at Astor Place Hair, and they looked amazing! They gave me her number-she books her own appointments-and I got in right before Christmas. You would not believe how many compliments I have gotten on my hair! That never happened before! My hilites are sparkly and healthy. She does this environmentally safe technique called baliage. I love it! Literally 4 more of my friends have already booked with her. She's a wonderful person, happy, with a sweet energy ans a great sense of humor...And get this- she actually listens to you when you request something! Again, a first in my life with my stylist. I know I'll go to Rita always, and feel I have also made a great friend in her. Also, the clients that were leaving her chair all hug her and are so happy- both men and women. I watched her create layers of color that were so beautiful and unique. Rita calls it "Halo's of Color", and it really is. I've never seen color like that before, but it's really beautiful and natural. She takes her time, and doesn't make you feel rushed. Now I know why she's more populer than anyone else on the sites. Rita, thank you and YOU ARE AN ANGEL!
