Review content:
B&H's massive specialty camera and electronics store is like Santa's workshop--merchandise shuffling overhead on conveyor belts--and an experience in itself. Just steps from the generic Herald Square shopping area sits a bastion of helpful, informative and non-pushy camera experts--on the phone or in-store. Sweet little gratis Starburst-like candies dot display cases throughout the floors. For a sweeter deal, hit the refurbished camera selection, direct from manufacturers like Nikon and Canon complete with 4GB cards, camera case, original packaging and accessories from $80. (Note: They won't tell you why it's "refurbished" though sometimes it's brand-new, only discontinued. You have three months to return this equipment.) Camera pros love the trade-in program, where all equipment must be in "total working order," for cash or store credit.
