Review content:
The Valley Advocate says of its Best Computer store in the valley: "Apple Computer may only have a 4 percent market share nationwide, but Macs have a strong presence here in the Valley as witnessed by the success of Yes! Computers, an independent Apple dealer on Pleasant Street for 11 years now. Yes! is not just a retail store, but a service shop as well; they now even service PCs. Stop by to see the milled aluminum exterior of the new G5 Tower, or just take a workshop to brush up on your computer skills. You're in good company."
Watchout though, you may be in good company, but that also means that they are too. The place is swamped. I thoroughly regret taking my Mac in to have them take a look. They are by no means expediant in the store, and then it took them a month and a half to get my computer back! There was a bungle up with sending it into Apple, and them sending it back, etc etc. Apparently Yes had not been paying Apple the service bill they owed to Apple. oops! After a lot of hoopla and promises, in the end it was better for me dial up Apple and have them repair it and send it straight back to me, bypassing the store completely. Apple is really good with service repairs, I got mine fixed the first time in Denmark under warrenty, no problem. Buy the extended Apple Support, and bypass Yes Computers is my advice.
But having said that, they did inform me that my computer was covered under the ":Logic Board Replacement program" and wasn't charged a cent. That I wouldn't have figured out unless I logged on tha Apple's main page and noticed the bulletin about it.
