Review content:
I'll be honest by saying I'm optimistic when it comes to trying a new restaurant. This was my first time at The Cheesecake Factory and I was hoping for a more pleasant experience, especially on a Monday evening when it's not too busy. However, the receptionist had seated us at a section where the waiter was on break. So, we waited for nearly 15 minutes before a waiter had finally come to our table only to be replaced by the original waiter coming back from their break. It took about 50 minutes before getting our food and the place was not that busy. I've been told they have great food, but it seemed average for this type of restaurant. The shrimp with angel hair pasta was great, but the fish tacos was smothered with too much shredded cabbage. Although, I was impressed at their huge menu selection. Granted our waiter was apologetic and did a great job, the managerial structure was clearly out of sync. The food is great, but avoid Monday nights.
Pros: Thumbs up for the garlic shrimp with angel hair pasta.
Cons: Thumbs down for the managerial sector of the restaurant.
