I love Fenouil, but last night was a huge disappointment. I have always been impressed with their appetizers, salads and sides, but the entrees have been where there has been a problem. I recommend not ordering any of the steak dishes and sticking with the fish and other entrees. They consistently overcook steak and there is nothing special about the panfried taste of a steak costing $35. We had the NY steak and the sauce/mushrooms were divine, but the steak tasted like something thrown in a skillet at home, and it was TEENY for $35. We also thought the meat tasted a little old, and not like the delicious NY we were expecting. They did comp our salads for the issue, so that was nice.
