My fiancé goes there so I went to try it out. They first made me sign a waiver and held on to my passport. They left me there without even give me a tour... I did my work out. !the equipment is ok but not worth what they charge. Then, I go downstairs to talk to the guy (apparently the manager) about joining or not. My passport was on the table in the middle of the room and had been sitting there the whole time!!! I don't know if they even realize what identity theft is but anyone could have just stolen it. Then I tell the guy about my situation (either I join or my fiancé quits to join another gym with me) hoping he knew as little as marketing 101 and how important it is to attract new clients and even more to keep existing ones. I felt like I was annoying him. He didn't even want me to join. He even cut me while I was speaking to get the phone... I told him I was going to check other gyms but I wanted to know about their promotions (get the clue, I want you to make me want to join your gym). He basically said that I had to sign up for everything for 100$ a month, no other offer and there was no promotion (understand "take it or leave it, I don't care"). I just took my passport and decided with my fiancé to join a cheaper and nicer gym on W14th street at the end of the month. Too bad for them, they lost a prospective customer and an existing one. Pros: Good locations Cons: Rude people
