Review content:
It seems like everyone either loves this place or hates it. While this is not my favorite place in the world (who loves the emergency room?!?), I feel I need to defend it a little. A lot of the negative reviews seem to come from people who are unwilling to accept that emergency medical care is expensive, period - whether the patient has two legs or four. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the way my cat (and I) were treated. The receptionist went through a list of questions for me and listened to my answers carefully. I know she was paying attention because the diagnosis/treatment papers that I was later given listed every detail that I described, even the somewhat irrelevant details that I was babbling at one in the morning. I didn't mind that I couldn't accompany my cat to the examination room, and I do think that this is a 100% professional policy for an emergency clinic. My immediate emotional reaction was an ache to be with Ella during the ordeal, but I got over it. Let the professionals do their job.
