Review content:
Don't be put off by the exterior, patrons, staff, interior, or proximity to Noble's Tavern, the Off Center cafe is a rare gem in a sea of dilapidated strip malls. It's hard to put your finger on exactly what makes it so special, but I reckon it's the food. Yeah, it's definitely the food. These guys know how to put on an amazing breakfast.
Rough morning? The "green chile tortoise", an order of homemade toast, and a cup of rocket coffee will put you on your merry way. Just imagine looking forward to Saturday again! Not to mention its generous weekend hours let you sleep in well past noon. Vive la Salem, and dine at the Off Center Cafe-- You'll definitely want to come back.
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, honest-to-goodness breakfast in an age of instant waffles and McGriddles
Cons: it's a dive, at best. Some might find it a little rough around the edges.
