Businiess name:  Kensington Apartments
Review by:  Noneof Y.
Review content:
Good: The proximity to good markets, good restaurants, medical facilities, shopping; some nice neighbors; moving out.. Bad: The slipshod construction; virtually uninsulated units; cold drafts (I don't mean beer); very high winter electric and gas bills; near heroic efforts it takes to get the haughty handyman to do repairs, the B/S excuses not to do repairs, repeated failure to do repairs right the first time; unsupervised children mindlessly skateboarding among moving vehicles (horrible accidents just waiting for a time to happen); so many dogs; low flying aircraft landing at Manchester Airport (not disclosed before we rented).. Improvements: New, competent, well-trained management respectful of the residents and their homes; timely repairs neatly and competently done right the first time; updated appliances; no more springing of last-minute "mandatory" snoopspections with no reasonable timetable or appointments allowed; regular pick-up of litter, storm debris and dog poop (according to management, dogs are neither allowed nor present at Kensington, which insults resident's intelligence).. Other: Perhaps "The 100 apartment homes at Kensington were built for residents who want the best of everything." However, now years later the apartments are at best dated; at least run down. Should one be so naive as to buy the bunk perpetuated by a manager who plays fast and loose with the truth, and rent at Kensington Apartments, shortly the reasons for the number of available units and the turnover will become clear. So grossly mismanaged a complex would be better run by the fraternity fops of "Animal House".
