When the fee is based on your monthly rent, how possibly do agents have incentives to fight for you to lower a monthly rent? Have you ever wondered? When I went to Citi Habitats, this nightmare exactly became a reality. Also, this real estate brokerage firm is probably the biggest in nyc in terms of affordable housing, some of the agents do not seem to work hard to be competitive. My recommendation is to stay away from Citi habitats when you can.
