I thought it would be nice to eat at Sofia in Margate, NJ for a company dinner. I am so embarassed I recommended this disjointed, unprofessional and horrible restaurant. It was really bad folks. The food was really awful. They can't cook. The service was poor too. Trust be told, none of us would go back even if the food was free Sofia was that inedible. It was not fun either. Some of the decor was pretty but that it not why you eat out, you got out to restaurants to get great food,s service and the total experience.
Bottom line? SOFIA IN MARGATE should just give it up. None of us would choose it again. The staff was rude and nasty too, it was as if they knew how bad their food was. The owner was a bitter woman too. Stay away and eat somewhere else in Margate, avoid Sofia in Margate.
