I have been a member of the Fitness 19 location in Eden Prairie, Mn since it opened. For the past year I have never seen this place in worse shape. Yesterday morning I counted 14 pieces of equipment that were in need of repair. Torn and worn out arm pads that have been like this for 6 months or more. The carpet is dirty and has never been completely cleaned in 4 years. Dust falling off the ceiling heating and cooling pipes and landing on people on the tread mills. When I have asked management about fixing the equipment they keep saying that the parts have been ordered . This has been going on for months. All they seem to care about is lowering the price to get more customers. The manager Shawn spends most of his time in the office with the door closed and never is on the floor asking members how they think the club is doing. It is a mess and a lot of long time members have gone back to LifeTime even though it cost more but the place is clean and the equipment is always in great shape. Fitness 19 charges each member an annual fee of $15 to $16 each December in order to keep "the place update and like new". What a joke. They buy a few mates, fix a few arm pads and that's it. You never see the owner. I don't think he ever comes in. This place is in bad shape. Go some where else. Most of the staff is very nice but they have no control over it's condition.
