Review content:
The Seoul Hot Pot used to be a pizza place, and the pizza was outstanding. Then the owners (this was many years ago) changed over to their own authentic Korean. And the food is still outstanding. Don't expect much from the decor -wait for your food before you judge.
I haven't had a bad thing on the menu, and the grill tables are always fun for a larger group. There is one dish that I always order just by asking for "the rice in the clay pot with the raw egg on top". I can never remember the name, but they always know what to bring me. The scallion pancakes are so good you'll forget about those stupid breakfast pancakes. The seafood pancakes are outstanding too. And the california roll. Of course you have to try the kimchi and this wonderful pickled beet that I can also never remember the name of.
Nice selection of Asian beers too. Located right down the street from Asia Plaza, so make an afternoon of it.
