. I had my puppy groomed here and it has been an absolute disaster. Before I dropped her off, she was very confident and outgoing. After her appointment, she was scared of her own shadow and extremely skittish for a week.\r \r The worst part is that our puppy got a massive ear infection after her appointment. She has two severe infections (Pseudomonas Aeruginosa and Methicillin-resistant Staph Pseudintermedius) that the vet said she definitely picked up while being groomed. I had to spend an entire afternoon at the vet having her ears flushed out while she was sedated and now she is in the middle of 3 weeks of treatments for the infections. The vet bill will end up being about $600 and our poor puppy is uncomfortable and can’t play with other dogs until she is better. I’ve attached a picture of how irritated her ear was a few days after the appointment.\r \r I phoned to complain and they offered to cover her next grooming appointment. Amazing service. I always call last minute to have my dog groomed and they always seems to have a little time for my dog. I have left her there for boarding many times and the only problem that I have had is that she is actually sad to leave. She absolutely loves the staff and the attention they give her. They are the only ones that are able to give her a true puppy cut without cutting too much. Just love the service and all the staff members... Couldn't have found a better dog groomer in my neighborhood! Highly recommend them. Pros: Very loving staff Cons: they don't accept amex more

pup culture rocks. my dogs loves it there- when we walk by he automatically pulls to either run downstairs to play, or inside the store to get groomed. he loves the girls who work there! i know that PC rocks because my dog is my best teacher- if he likes it, i like it. i trust him because he KNOWS what he likes. the groomer at pc is amazing.. hes calm and gentle, taking the time needed to groom each dog lovingly and perfectly- to yours and the dogs needs. he is great at breed specific cuts, or just plain trims. forget the price- id pay anything to have my dog look good and be HAPPY there- he never flips out and cries to get out of the place like he has in the past from other groomers. they offer dog walking too, which is really convenient for when were not home. ive also boarded my dog there and he was totally fine and happy the whole time. he barely even glanced at me when i picked him up, he still wanted to play! it may not be the prettiest, but it sure is a place filled w/love and attention. they are also very very clean, and always pick up dog waste when the dogs go outside during walks. (most nyers dont! nasty). anyways, i love PC, my dog loves PC and you should to. and to the person who said their dog is terrified of walking down the block? your dog is probably an inbred, overbred, ""designer"" dog who has psychological issues anyways, and probably is as neurotic as you. pupculture does an amazing job grooming dogs. I have a labradoodle so it's definitely a tough job, but they are up to it! Granted, it does take a very long time for them to finish grooming a dog, but it's well worth the wait. The initial grooming is fantastic and I love the way it grows in also. The groomer and staff are very gentle and loving. If you can be patient it is a great place to go. Pros: fabulous grooming results Cons: takes a long time more

I have brought my dog to Pup Culture numerous times, and for long stays (1-3 weeks). My dog is fairly large and can be a handful - so she puts the workers to the test! We recently brought her back and she ran right downstairs becuase she loves it there so much! I can tell all of the people there love animals, they are willing to do anything to make my dog's stay more comfortable. \r \r I think Pup Culture does an AMAZING job and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for daycare or anything for their animals. \r \r more

My dog has been going to pupculture for about a year now. The staff is really kind and it's the same people all the time so the dog really gets to have a relationship with them, my dog literally jumps into the arms of the girls who work there. Most important to me is that the dogs are really well supervised so they don't play too rough, as my dog can be a little shy. Also my dog takes heart medication and whenever he boards there I always feel comfortable that they will give him his medication and he will stay healthy and happy while I'm away. I would definitely recommend pupculture to anyone who is looking for a great daycare/boarding facility. Pros: good service, good rates, friendly staff, very accomodating more

the better of the two - I brought my dog there for a bath .. not to be grooomed mind you, just a quick wash. When i went to pick him up, i was told it was 60 dollars + tax. The cost of a full grooming is 70 dollars. total rip off!!! -----What makes this worse is as i was going to pick him up i was told an awful story by my coworker. It seems when she brought her do there to be groomed there was a terrible accident. They severed her dogs tail and did not tell her. Pup Culture brought the dog to a vet, patching it up and told her it was a small cut when she went to pick the dog up. She started acting funny and she rushed him to the 24 hour emergency vet and only there did she discover the truth. the dog almost died. DO NOT BRING ANY ANIMAL YOU CARE ABOUT HERE!!! more

The owners are not very polite and have occasionally been too busy fighting with each other to pay attention to you even when you're standing right there at the counter. Abraham is often very rude and Melina is often crying for no apparent reason. I wouldnt leave my dog with such unstable people and I would suggest you don't either more

My two dogs absolutely love their daily walks from PupCulture (Juan, specifically). I've been home on occasion where I see them interact with him and I can tell they are well taken care of. We couldn't be happier with the service. In addition, PupCulture grooms and boards with very little notice and no hassle what so ever. more

My friend warned me about this place - she said the owner was rude, they employ addicts as dog walkers, and treat the animals poorly. SHE WAS RIGHT. I walked by the other day and heard someone screaming at the top of their lungs at the dogs (you can hear from the sidewalk - the kennel is below street level) and heard a woman warning someone who was about to walk in with thei dog, not to use this place. Literally 2 minutes later a woman walked out with a dog and the owner was screaming at her - something I cannot write here. THEN another friend of mine said she saw one of their junkie dog walkers dragging a little dog down the street and not letting it stop to go the bathroom. STAY AWAY, this is not a joke. My friend an I are reporting them to the city of New York - I feel that strongly about what I witnessed. Cons: read my review more

This place is very nice and owner is nice guy.\r My dog usually don't like dy care but they treated him very well and i enjoied this place.\r Most of dogs love their own home with their owner but this palce is doing their best!!!! more

I have a ten month old puppy who I bring to pup culture 3-4 times a week, she absolutely loves it there. When I walk up the block she starts running towards the door and always tries to pull me downstairs. The owners are very nice and always wiling to help with what ever you need. I highly reccomend pup culture!!! more

I brought my dog here once for day care, and now she won't walk down this street anymore! She is completely scared of this place! The place is cold and unfriendly and the service is terrible. I would usually never write a review but am outraged by the last person who posted with the title ""Lame"" \r Pup culture is anything but how he describes it. My dog has been going there every day for 2 years and he couldn't be happier. The staff is amazing and I know he is very well taken care of because he charges in as fast as he can when we approach. When researching other facilities in the area other places do not even take the dogs out to go to the bathroom. Pup Culture walks each dog outside for a bathroom break multiple times throughout the day. Another bonus is the pick up and drop off service they have when we have to work late or unable to get there on time. Their hours are great too - open till 8pm. the staff plays with all the dogs all day long. I couldn't be happier with the service and nor could my dog. I would HIGHLY reccommend Pup Culture to anyone who adores their pet. more

We take our dog there once a week for daycare. He seems to love it. We live nearby and everytime we walk by he wants to go in and say hi! A very good sign he enjoys his time there. We've also recieved many compliments about his grooming from strangers on the street. Grooming is also much more afforable than the competition in the neighborhood. The owners and workers there are always very nice to us and our four legged buddy. We've had nothing but positive experiences with Pup Culture Pros: good staff, affordable more

Pupculture came *recommended* but only by way of Dog Walks. I brought my dog there one morning, and was turned off completely by the facilities. The floors and walls are basically aluminum/steel siding - with the room sectioned off into smaller kennels. It felt like my doggie would be staying in a tin can - lying on a cold steel floor. When asked if the staff plays with the pets -- the owner said no. Overall, everything felt wrong. NOT worth 30 $ to say the least. Not only did I refuse to leave my dog there, but the owner was rude, and tried to turn us away, which was rude, immature and unprofessional. Pros: nope Cons: rude/attitude, lame, unoriginal more
