Nope. Not good. 3/7/2006

My general theory on restaurants is that they should pick one thing and do it well. Eastlake Teriyaki does not subscribe to my theory. They serve teriyaki, pho and yakisoba, among other things. When I first tried them I thought they were casting their nets a little too wide but I tried it anyway. I had the chicken teriyaki. It wasn't good. I'm no expert on describing flavors but the words bland and boring come to mind. The next time I went (I know, I know, but it's close to work) I had the yakisoba. I'm no expert at describing textures, but the words chewy and wet cardboard refrigerator box come to mind. I'm not going back. It's not good, even if it is within walking distance of the office. One positive note: My coworker ordered the "small" and was ridiculed for ordering the "kids" portion by the woman behind the counter. That made it worth two stars. more
