J Alexander's is a bit more upscale than your average steak house (which translates into a it more expensive) but every dish they have is delicious. The sauces they use on their steaks are to die for and you definitely have to try they mashed potatoes. I wouldn't recommend spending on drinks though...they are watered down. As far as the atmosphere, it's very sophisticated.
