Wal-Mart in Northlake, (i guess melrose) to me is like a strange adventure. When I go there its always a unique experience in consciousness. When it is crowded it can feel like a bazaar, this particular wal-mart. Just a lot of people, shopping for these items. What is it all about? All these stories intertwined, all in wal-mart. Shopping at wal-mart is strange, you really do find ridiculously low prices, and I always think about where this stuff comes from, who is on the other side of the world producing it. What is their life like, and how does it all fit in on our global society. This particular wal-mart has a very diverse clientele, so it is just a good sampling of American culture from many different viewpoints. In terms of shopping, they have what you need and it is cheap. Cheaper than most other places. So just the idea of wal-mart can stir up a lot of different issues in most people. Will you participate?
