Kate Spade has made an empire for herself. The gal from Kansas has made her mark in the handbag market and expanded it to shoes, accessories, paper goods, coats & sleepwear, picture frames, baby goods and china/crystal home goods. I have become a bit bored with the bags, but every once in a while one catches my eye. I prefer the small items like cell phone holders & iPod cases or the datebooks.
