Hey, I am as sick of raving fundamentalists as anyone, especially their obsession with other people's sex lives. But for me, unless I have some structure surrounding my spiritual life, it's just not something I ever think about, let alone work on. So here is a plug for a "blue-state" style church that is explicitly welcoming to everyone regardless of their sexual orientation, economic status, or whatever.
