Way back in 2003, when we got engaged, my man and I decided to have our wedding rings made instead of buying them at a store. Pretty as they may be, store-bought rings just didn't speak to who we were, both as individuals and as a couple. We wanted rings that represented us and our relationship.
We found Annie Pond online (even though she didn't own a computer), and after some conversation and some sketching, she made a pair of wedding rings that are breathtaking and just perfect for us. Strangers frequently compliment my ring, even though it is not large or flashy. The beauty and originality of the rings draws the eye anyway.
My ring is a very intricate, incorporating the simpler pattern on my husband's ring; creating an unmatched but unmistakable pair. They are both very beautiful and they are everything we wanted them to be.
We haven't seen Annie since we bought the rings but I think of her (and recommend her) whenever the conversation turns to wedding rings or to choosing a gift of jewelry for someone important to the giver.
