Dr. Matt Uchtman graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic after completing his undergraduate studies at Southeast Missouri State University in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science. After playing years of athletics he has developed not only a passion for sports, but a passion for improving the performance of athletes. Dr. Matt's focus lies in educating families and the community of the lifestyle changes necessary to improve health and quality of life, and the vital role of chiropractic in health.
While attending Logan, Dr. Matt went above and beyond the basic requirements by participating in multiple advanced adjusting, soft-tissue, and rehabilitation seminars and various other seminars with topics including Golf Swing Analysis, Gait Analysis, Shoulder Evaluation and Care and Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Care. Dr. Matt is currently continuing his studies in areas of Nutrition, Exercise, Genetics, Detoxification, Pediatrics and their direct ties to long term health and well-being.
Dr. Matt's passion for giving back to the community and seeing people regain their health has made him one of the area’s most sought after speakers. He has done community service workshops at churches, schools, service organizations and businesses. Dr. Matt’s goal for everyone is to guide them on a journey to experience their God-given health potential and end their battle with needless suffering and illness. Dr. Matt is originally from Steeleville, IL and now resides in Maryville with his wife Brooke, daughter Madison and chocolate lab “Chase”.
