I got my first mountain bike from the bicycle rack, and while the goods aren't cheap here, the bikes are well-made, they have a great selection, and most importantly, the staff knows their stuff. Ask them about trails in the area, including Mohonk and Minnewaska, and they'll give you some great tips and spots to check out. Located right off of Main Street in New Paltz, across from Handmade.
