Wixey's has been around for 75 years and virtually everyone in South Toledo knows it well. They have all the typcial bakery fare...cookies, sweet rolls, eclairs, cakes, bread, rolls and more. I can say that they make the best cream straights, jelly rolls and chocolate cannolis I have ever tasted. And if you need a wedding cake...this is your place! Part of it's charm is that it is located in a small strip of neighborhood businesses, including an ice cream shop, candy store, knitting shop, barber, beauty shop and a jewelry store. They have recently added a couple of tables with chairs, so you can enjoy your goodies with a cup of coffee right there in the bakery. Yum!
