I've never bought jewelry from Dean's, but I do find lots of pretty things to drool over every time I go in. I used them several times for jewelry repair, and had been happy with their work if not their prices. I called around and found another place (Diamonds of Palo Alto) who seems to charge less for repairs, and has a faster turnaround to boot. But it's still a good place to window shop!
