The Jambalaya Restaurant is located in Arcata on H Street just a few feet north of the Arcata Plaza. The restaurant had a major renovation about 4-5 years ago and became a upscale restaurant. The dive bar it once was is no more. The food is very good, but over the past few years the menu has not changed very much so you better have some favorites if you want to return. It never is very busy so it’s a good place to go when you have no reservations. I bit of trivia. The old Jambalaya bar hosted the first public concert that the band Foo Fighters ever played.
