The park is really lovely. A great place to have a picnic. Yes, its a city park so it is not without noise or people but that is to be expected. There are paddle boats and boat rides available that show of the beauty of the park. If you really want to feed geese you can and there is a playground for the kids. There are also trails, but I haven't been on them.
